Navigating the System

Top navigation bar

The horizontal menu at the top of every page contains links to each module you have access to. Modules you do not have a role for are hidden automatically.

Common top-level menu items:

• Kill Floor ??? batch management and logs
• Inventory ??? Dry Storage, Cooler, Freezer, Breaking Room
• Orders ??? Supplier Orders, Plant Orders
• Products ??? Catalog, Stock Take, Labels
• Costing ??? Main Costing
• Reports ??? SSRS report library
• Admin ??? User Management, Maintenance, Messages (restricted)

Breadcrumbs

A breadcrumb trail appears below the page title showing your current location, e.g.:

Home > Inventory > Dry Storage > Orders

Click any breadcrumb segment to navigate back to that level.

Data grids

Most list views use a sortable, paginated grid. Common controls:

Forms

• Fields marked with * are required.
• Click Save or Submit to commit changes.
• Click Cancel or use the breadcrumb to discard and go back.
• Validation errors appear inline beneath each field.
